Stickyworld Ltd (Stickyworld) takes the privacy and security of your information very seriously.

This policy explains how and for what purposes we use the information collected about you via our website (referred to below as the “Site”).  For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (referred to below as the “Act”), the data controller is Stickyworld Ltd. 6 Mitre Passage, London SE10 0ER.

We provide software-as-a-service to Customers that enables them to publish content for stakeholder communications and management and capture process responses (referred to below as our “Customers”). Our Customers and their agents also act as data controllers on websites that they publish and administer, powered by our software. Data is stored on our servers in EU.   Our Customers are bound by these same terms relating to Privacy.

By using the Site and any services we offer via the Site, you are agreeing to be bound by this policy in respect of the information collected about you via this Site. Who do we collect information from

We collect and process minimum personal information from visitors to public facing websites, registered users of our private password-protected websites.

Information Collected about public visitors to Stickyworld websites.

We collect and process minimum personal information to enable us to provide an internet service to our customers and clients, to maintain our own accounts and records and to support and manage our employees.

Specifically Stickyworld collects the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, we aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit on our website(s) and information volunteered by the visitor (such as survey information and/or site registrations).

The information we collect is used to improve and extend the content of our Web pages and the quality of our services, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • When you register with and comment on any content hosted on a sub-domain of on behalf of an individual or organisation controlling the data on that subdomain.  In this instance your email and any name you submit is shared with the organisers of the page you submitted the information on, and any portal administrators of the subdomain - our customer who pays for our software as a service.  You are asked to authenticate your email for the purposes of validation and moderation of your comments. All Stickyworld Customers have a duty to follow this privacy policy on behalf of Stickyworld.
  • It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service or Customer Terms of Service or as otherwise required by law.
  • We transfer information about you if Stickyworld is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Stickyworld will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. You will have the opportunity to remove your data prior to any transfer.

Information Collected about Stickyworld customers

When you register for a Stickyworld trial we may ask for information such as your name, company name, email address, billing address, credit card information. Members who sign up for the free trial or future planned beta programmes are not required to enter a credit card.

Stickyworld uses collected information for the following general purposes:

  • identification and authentication
  • services improvement

  • research

Use of Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are required to use the Stickyworld service. We use cookies to record current session information, but do not use permanent cookies. You are required to log-in to your Stickyworld account after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.

Data Storage

Stickyworld uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Stickyworld software. Although Stickyworld owns the code, databases, and all rights to the Stickyworld application, you retain all rights to your data.  Your data is secured by enterprise class servers in EU.


Stickyworld may only disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.


Stickyworld may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Stickyworld primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
